Bloons TD 6 Troubleshooting: Reported Problems and First Fixes

Most Bloons TD 6 problems reported on the game's forums fall into five groups: startup hangs, login failures, co-op crashes, full-system crashes and lost progress. This page lists the symptoms, the safe first fixes worth trying, and the pitfalls like device-locked Boss Event saves that players commonly mistake for bugs.

This page is a symptom index, not a service manual. Each group below collects what players actually report, the fixes that are safe to try first, and the case where what looks like a bug is designed behavior. When first fixes fail, the official support channel is the only source that can resolve account-specific problems.

Startup hangs partway through loading

Players on PC report the game stalling mid-load, such as stopping partway through a multi-step loading screen. The standard first moves are: close the game fully and restart it, check for a pending client update in your store library, and verify game files on Steam. Persistent hangs are support territory, because they usually involve account or local data states we cannot see.

Login failures

Login bugs are reported across platforms and tend to follow store account outages or app updates. First checks: confirm you can sign into the store itself, confirm the game has network permission, and rule out maintenance by checking whether co-op matchmaking is down for everyone. A login failure that survives all three is a support case with your player ID attached.

Co-op crashes on launch

A recurring PC report is the game crashing immediately when starting a co-op session. Community workarounds revolve around updating the client, restarting after a failed session, and testing whether solo play still works to isolate the cause. Co-op sessions cross stores, so a teammate's client state can also matter.

Full-system crashes

PC players occasionally report the game taking the whole machine down. That severity usually points at drivers, overheating or system-level issues rather than the game alone. First fixes: update GPU drivers, confirm the machine meets the store's stated requirements, and check whether other 3D games crash the same way.

Lost progress

Two different things get called lost progress:

⚠️ Unconfirmed. Individual fixes for account-level problems are not published by Ninja Kiwi in a form we can verify. The support link below is the only path we endorse for those.

When to contact official support

If a problem survives the first fixes above and our FAQ, contact Ninja Kiwi support with your platform, player ID and what you already tried. Community forums can sympathize; only support can inspect your account.

FAQ

Where is the official support page?

Ninja Kiwi runs support.ninjakiwi.com, which is linked from the game's own store listings. That is the only official channel.

Why did my Boss Event progress disappear on my other device?

It did not disappear. Boss Event saves have been device-locked since v33.0. Continue on the original device.

Does reinstalling delete progress?

Not usually, because progress rides on your store account's cloud saves. But before reinstalling anything, read the lost-progress section above and confirm you know which account your progress is attached to.
