The Events tab is where BTD6 lives week to week. These are the recurring formats, not a calendar: current rotations belong in the game, not on a static page.
Bloons TD 6 is not a remaster of Bloons TD 5. It is the sixth numbered tower defense in the series Ninja Kiwi started in August 2007, and the first built in 3D with a hero system. Every mechanic name you remember from the Flash era survived the jump: Dart Monkey, MOAB, Camo, Regrow.
What changed is the shape of the game around them. One purchase per platform instead of a free web page. Twenty-five towers with three upgrade paths each instead of a handful of fixed towers. Seventeen heroes, four-player co-op in every mode, Boss events, Paragons, and eight years of continuous updates that turned a one-shot Flash game into a live platform now also distributed through Netflix and Apple Arcade subscriptions.

It depends on the store. Mobile is $6.99 one-time on Google Play and the App Store. PC is $13.99 on Steam US. The Netflix edition and the Apple Arcade edition (BTD6+) are included with those subscriptions. See our price page for DLC and regional caveats.
No official one. There is no web or browser version from Ninja Kiwi. The only legitimate low-cost routes are a Netflix or Apple Arcade subscription you may already pay for, or waiting for an official store sale. See play free.
Yes. BTD6 supports 4-player co-op, meaning you plus three teammates, across all platforms. Co-op works across stores, and Boss Bloon Events have had dedicated co-op rules since v28.0. More on modes.
Update 56.x, released to Steam on 6 August 2026 and to Google Play on 20 August 2026. It added the Skywarden tower. Note that the Netflix edition and console editions historically update later than Steam and mobile. Tracked on updates.
Progress syncs within the same platform family through cloud saves, but it does not transfer between different editions. The Netflix edition in particular cannot import or export saves to any other version. Detail on platforms.
17 per the official store listing as of September 2026. You bring exactly one Hero per game, and Heroes level up on their own during a match instead of using upgrade paths. See heroes.
